๐Ÿ’ปGHG Policy User Journey UI Demo Guide

For this section we will describe the user journey for the GHG policy workflow, including the users that are involved within the import of the GHG policy.

Here are the users that will be involved within this GHG policy demo UI:

  1. Standard Registry

  2. Employer

  3. Employee

You will need to run the installation commands, open a tab on your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000/.

GHG policy for the Standard Registry

Here in this demo for the Standard Registry, we will show the Standard Registry creating an account and importing the policy.

Step 1

The first step is that you will need to either login in to your account that you have previously created or create a new account.

Here we will create a new account. You will need to click on โ€œCreate newโ€ which will then lead you to the page to add the necessary information.

Step 2

You will need to follow the step below to Configure your account if you have selected โ€œCreate newโ€. And select account type, in this case you will want to select โ€˜Standard Registryโ€™ and create a new account.

You will then need to add your User name, Password and Confirm Password, then you will click on โ€œCreateโ€.

Step 3

Once you have added the correct details to configure your account, you will need to either use your own Hedera credentials or, if you do not have them, press the โ€œGenerateโ€ button to generate a Hedera Operator ID and an Operator Key. This will create your Hedera Consensus Service Topic, show your hBar balance, DID document and a Verifiable Credential etc. Then click on โ€œNextโ€

You will need to configure your account. You will need to enter the details shown in the image below.

Step 4

Once you have completed the previous steps you can then select โ€œPoliciesโ€ on the navigation menu. After you have selected โ€œPoliciesโ€ you will have the two options to either โ€œCreate Policyโ€ or โ€œImportโ€ a policy.

Here we will want to click on โ€œImportโ€ policy.

Step 5

Now we will want to import the GHG policy file and the IPFS timestamp 1690818219.261824567 and click on โ€œOkโ€.

Once you have clicked on โ€œOkโ€ you can then preview the GHG policy and then click on โ€œImportโ€. If you intend to import this policy as a new version of another that you have already been using, just select which policy you wish to refer to under the โ€œVersion ofโ€.

Here we can see the policy being imported.

Step 6

You will then see the GHG Policy with the Status of Draft.

We will just add this policy as the 1st version and then click on โ€œPublishโ€.

Now we can see the GHG policy as Published.

GHG policy for the Employer

Here in this demo for the Employer, we will show the Employer creating an account, choosing their role, inviting the employee and viewing the employeeโ€™s survey.

Step 1

The first step we will need to do is create a new account for the Employer, by clicking on โ€œCreate Newโ€.

We will then add the username, password and confirm the password for the new account for the employer. Then we will click on โ€œCreateโ€.

Step 2

You will want to set up your Employer role and select the standard registry from the dropdown. You will also need to either use your own Hedera credentials or, if you do not have them, press the โ€œGenerateโ€ button to generate a Hedera Operator ID and an Operator Key. This will create your Hedera Consensus Service Topic, show your hBar balance, DID document and a Verifiable Credential etc, after that you will want to click on โ€œSubmitโ€.

Step 3

You will then want to go on to the โ€œPoliciesโ€ tab, where you will be able to see the GHG policy which was imported by the Standard Registry, where now you will want to click on the โ€œGoโ€ button on the GHG policy.

Step 4

Once we have clicked on the โ€œGoโ€ button we have the option to create a group or accept an invite. For now we can click on โ€œcreate a new groupโ€ and select โ€˜Organizationโ€™ from the dropdown and create a โ€˜Group Labelโ€™ which in this case will be โ€˜Organization_Groupโ€™. Once that is done click on the โ€œOkโ€ button.

You will then see the label and Group name that you have just created under the โ€œEmployeeโ€ tab of the GHG policy and then click on โ€œGet inviteโ€.

Step 5

You will then want to send out an invite to the Employee and then click on โ€œGenerate inviteโ€.

Step 6 ( To continue only when the employee has completed the Employee Survey )

Once the employee has completed the survey, you will be able to see the details of the survey when you have selected the GHG policy and then the โ€œEmployee Surveyโ€.

Also, including the report of the survey as well which you can see by clicking on the โ€œReportโ€ tab. Here you will be able to see the working hours.

GHG policy for the Employee

Here in this demo for the Employee, we will show the Employee creating an account, accepting an invitation of the Employer and completing an Employee survey.

Step 1

The first step you will need to do is create a new account for the Employee, by clicking on โ€œCreate Newโ€.

We will then add the username, password and confirm the password for the new account for the employee. Then we will click on โ€œCreateโ€.

Step 2

You will want to set up your Employer role and select the standard registry from the dropdown. You will need also to either use your own Hedera credentials or, if you do not have them, press the โ€œGenerateโ€ button to generate a Hedera Operator ID and an Operator Key. This will create your Hedera Consensus Service Topic, show your hBar balance, DID document and a Verifiable Credential etc, after that you will want to click on โ€œSubmitโ€.

Step 3

You will then want to go on to the โ€œPoliciesโ€ tab, where you will be able to see the GHG policy which was imported by the Standard Registry, where now you will want to click on the โ€œGoโ€ button on the GHG policy.

Step 4

Here you will want to select โ€œAccept Invitationโ€ and paste the invite given by the Employer and then click on โ€œOkโ€.

Step 5

You will then need to fill out the Employee survey with the required information and then click on โ€œOkโ€

Step 6

Once you have completed the employee survey, you will then click on the GHG policy which you will then be on the โ€œTime trackingโ€ tab and click on โ€œCreate New Time trackingโ€.

Once completed you will see the document that you have created with the following information that you have provided.
